Supporting the mahi of midwives and those working in the birthing community
In an ideal world, those working in the perinatal space would have all the resources they need but we know we don’t live in an ideal world. Oxytocin Trust therefore collaborates with local (and sometimes nationwide) suppliers to provide equipment or other products to help support the clinical work of the maternity ward and midwifery in the community.
Donated items can support a specific clinical need, such as a freezer for donated breastmilk or a portable freezer to be used with Manaaki Mats, while others are provided to support our birthing community more holistically with items like plants for the waiting area of the community midwifery team. Each item donated aligns with our strategic plan and is purchased with Oxytocin Trust funds or donated by a generous business.
If you work in the perinatal space in Te Awa Kairangi/the Hutt Valley and have a specific need for a piece of equipment or similar, please let us know the details here. While we can’t support all requests, we will carefully consider all of them and get back to you as soon as possible.
Please support our generous sponsors by buying their products to say thank you to them!
